Can the Wired Video Doorbell be used without a Power Module?

Yes. Installations using a mechanical chime, and installations without a wired chime, do not require a power module. All digital chime installations require a power module.

Can the Wired Video Doorbell send notifications to a security panel?

Yes. The Wired Video Doorbell can send notifications to compatible panels. The following security panels can interact with the Wired Video Doorbell: 

  • Qolsys IQ Panel 2
  • Qolsys IQ Panel 4

Can the Wired Video Doorbell use Video Motion Detection and Video Analytics?

The Wired Video Doorbell can only use Video Analytics. The Video Analytics recording rule options for an Wired Video Doorbell are limited to the following:

  • One Video Analytics recording rule per device
  • Only Ground Zone rules can be created
  • Only people can be detected

Can the micro USB port power the Wired Video Doorbell?

Yes. However, it should only be used temporarily for troubleshooting. 

Can users change the LED color of the button on the Wired Video Doorbell?

No. The LED color for the button on the Wired Video Doorbell cannot be customized.

Do saved clips from the Wired Video Doorbell contain audio?
